About Me.

Hello! My name is Gab, AKA Big Baby Pokes, and I am a black, trans non-binary, mixed media artist. I work out of a private studio in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where I specialize in machine free, hand-poked tattoos. I am a self-taught, art school drop out with four years of tattooing experience. At 29, I have been collecting tattoos for nearly fifteen years. My mission as a tattoo artist is to prioritize and create a safe space for black, brown, queer, trans, and fat folks who aren’t often catered to, let alone cared for, as clients in your everyday walk-in tattoo shop. I hope to carve out space in the Philadelphia tattoo scene for clients as well as for other artists like myself.
